about US
MELZ KEANE
Born and raised in Twickenham, I attended St Mary’s School when it was a single site school. Now a mother of two girls, I am committed to providing before and after school care that is an extension of the community and ethos of the school.
My goal is to provide wrap around care that provides peace of mind for working parents as well as a fun, imaginative and nurturing environment for children to develop their friendships and personal identity.
I have a full paediatric first aid qualification, food handling certificate as well as relevant safeguarding experience, and I am in the process of obtaining my Level 2 childcare diploma .
ALEX THORNTON
I am a mum of three boys, ranging from 9 to 12 years old who have all attended St Mary’s school and have also been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2017.
I am passionate about offering a warm and caring environment, where the children in our care can have homemade meals everyday and play with a range of fun and interactive toys.
I have a Level 3 childcare diploma, full paediatric first aid qualification, food handling certificate and relevant safeguarding experience.
AT THE CLUBHOUSE
Our sessions are packed with a mix of structured and free-play activities to suit all interests and energy levels. Children can dive into creative play with LEGO, enjoy board games and puzzles with friends, or get involved in arts and crafts projects that spark imagination. For those who like to move, we offer plenty of physical play, including trips to the local park (weather permitting), team games, and outdoor fun to help them burn off some steam.
We also create a calm, supportive environment where children can unwind with books, drawing, or quiet time after a busy day at school. Healthy snacks and drinks are provided to keep everyone refreshed and energised.
Whether your child joins us in the morning to start their day with a smile, or winds down with us in the afternoon, you can count on Junior Club House to provide caring supervision, engaging activities, and a strong sense of community.
'Children feel safe and secure at the club. They are cheerful and greet staff excitedly by hugging them on arrival. Staff respond to all children warmly'
